Energy and Jobs Forum

Houston, TX

October 24, 2012

On behalf of David Holt, President of the Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA), and everyone at our newest regional chapter—CEA-Texas, I would like to invite you to attend our Energy and Jobs Forum in Houston being held on Wednesday, October 24 at the Westin Galleria.

CEA-Texas’ Energy and Jobs Forum will examine the role energy production plays in job creation and economic recovery in local Texas communities. We’ll be hearing from elected officials, local representatives and academic experts about what they see for the future of energy production. Guest speakers and participants include Congressman Gene Green, State Representative Carol Alvarado, former State Senator Kip Averitt, several members of our steering committee, and many more.

The Energy and Jobs Forum will be a great opportunity to bring the energy community together with policy makers to address how energy production impacts our state. We also want to demonstrate how as a representative of both energy consumers and energy producers, CEA-Texas is uniquely positioned to effectively engage in advocacy efforts already taking place in Texas.

If you would like to RSVP or for more information you can contact me at ghuffman@consumerenergyalliance.org or (713) 337-8804. We hope to see you in Houston on October 24, 2012.
